Well, I didn't quite keep up on this blog (class blog) and seemed a little overwhelmed at managing so many new tools (personal blog, wikis, class wikis, etc.). No excuses... I just wasn't as up to speed as I would have thought I would be.
That being said, the second class was great. Though there were only a few of us, we used our time wisely and bombarded Ben with questions. Correct me if I am wrong (which I am often know to be), but we no longer have to maintain our personal blogs (at least for this class). Instead, we just need to keep up our "class blog." Right? Right!
So here I am... trying to put the past few days into perspective: I started my own wiki, http://amexslc.wik.is/Home_Page and am pretty excited! I thought I would kill two birds with one stone and use my wiki as a template for one I'd like to incorporate for my team. The focus is on personal and professional development in the corporate education field.
I'm not sure how this works, but if our class is to contribute to one another's wikis, then I welcome your input: you may not have personal experience at American Express, but I welcome your suggestions and comments from an adult educator point of view.
Take a look and let me know. I wanted to establish a template, but sticking to the wiki concept, feel free to change and add as you deem necessary. You'll have to register on the wiki, but contribution rights have been granted to all visitors. Note that I probably will not let my instructional team know of the site until after class. This way comments and changes will be restricted to our MED class.

Mario's Blog
Well, I am everything I wanted to be (so far). I've had several careers (aviation, teaching, instructional design) and am ready to learn more... and more!
