Mario's Blog

Well, I am everything I wanted to be (so far). I've had several careers (aviation, teaching, instructional design) and am ready to learn more... and more!

What is your favorite airplane? What kinds of different airplanes have you flown in the past?

Did you fly in the military? You're in the reserves right? I think it's awesome you have had so many experiences. I need to branch out more...

My kids went to that Rock and Roll thing you were talking about in last semester's class. I saw the program from last weekend's concerts and see that you're a groupie. I pointed out which kid was yours. My oldest now wants to be a rock star. He's 13 and he talked his 11-year-old brother into loaning him his electric guitar and providing a half-hour instruction. Who knows, maybe you'll see me at a future show. In the meantime, why don't you post a 1-minute preview video of a song? Take care.

One day, when I grow up, I want to be able to say that I'm everything I wanted to be. It sounds like you've had a great career, so far. Good for you! I'm still trying to figure out what a career is supposed to look like. I have to admit that I have enjoyed all the many opportunities that have presented themselves over the years. Some were expected. Most were a surprise. It's great to have you in another class. Someone close to my age! Us old guys need to stick together.
